At HSO it’s really important to us to support parents so that they can enjoy this special time.

  • Maternity leave – At HSO, maternity leave and any other rights are granted in accordance with current statutory regulations.
  • Employees will be entitled to 12 weeks’ full pay, followed by 27 weeks at 90% of their average weekly earnings or £148.68 per week, whichever is lower.
  • Paternity entitlement – Paternity leave is granted in accordance with current statutory regulations, with two weeks full pay.
  • Shared Parental Leave – Employees who are having a baby or adopting a child may wish to share the parental leave with their partner. An employee and their partner can share up to 50 weeks of leave and up to 37 weeks of pay between them.
